The Laboratory was established in 1999 and since then implements a Quality Assurance Program.
The Laboratory is an Accredited Clinical Laboratory.We operate in the areas of Haematology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Microbiology and Molecular Genetics/ Forensic Haemogenetics.
From 2010 the laboratory has been operating in its own modern facilities. With the aid of advanced state of the art equipment,which is used to work as efficiently as possible for the best results.Our facilities are located in Strovolos ,Nicosia.
Our policy is:
- To provide reliable and valid results for the prevention, early diagnosis and monitoring of treatment towards all patients.
- The provision of consultation in the field of forensic genetics is also offered by the laboratory .
- Blood collection in a suitably approved area of the laboratory or on site where the patient is located.
- Biochemical, immunological, haematological and microbiological tests of human samples collected by individuals, physicians etc.
- Interpretation of tests results.
- Advice on the selection of appropriate tests, the required type of sample (e.g., blood, urine etc.) and the repetition frequency of the tests in question.
- Participation in research programs for continuous up to date knowledge .
